Early Years Nursery Practitioner – commencing December 2024
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced (Part Time Post although opportunity for Full Time in the future) from December 2024.
Alonim Pre-School Nursery is a part of Sha’arei Tsedek North London Reform Synagogue, and is based in Whetstone, London N20.
As the successful candidate, you will support your team in providing outstanding quality childcare, infused with Reform Jewish values. You will be supported by the Team leader and staff, to inspire and nurture children in your key person group. You will need to provide the highest standards of safety, care and education. You will need to be flexible and be prepared to work in different classes with different age groups ranging from 2 years old to 4 year olds.
You must be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, with particular knowledge, passion and experience of caring for children in the Early Years. If you have significant & recent experience in working in early years, up to date training in Safeguarding and First Aid and have a minimum Level 2 qualification such as NNEB/NVQ or equivalent in childcare, we would love to hear from you.

Salary: Pay £13.74 ph
Hours: Core hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 1.00 pm with a possibility to extending hours for Breakfast Club (7.45 am – 9.00 am), Afternoon session (1.00 pm – 4.15 pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 1.00 pm to 3.15 pm)
